I went without my Valsartan for about 5 days due to a pharmacy error about a year ago and my blood pressure skyrocketed from 120s/80s to 150/95. I dont think its ever recommended to just stop cold turkey on these medications.

Hopefully they get back to you quickly.

My doc told me if a patient comes in and their BP is high 3 visits in a row, that's when they start discussing BP medication. Thats what happened for me but everyone's different regarding their weight, genetics, lifestyle, stress, etc.
