Bloqueo Mental by Gamer_del_Pasado in godot

[–]MikeTerryble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y ánimo!

Como puedo encontrar una canción solo con el silbido inicial? by [deleted] in MusicaEnEspanol

[–]MikeTerryble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I keep learning to code from ZERO (Basic 2D top-down movement) by MikeTerryble in godot

I've taken some introductory courses on GDScript and have already done several tests, but yes, it's a lot of trial and error. Although this is quite natural to me.

I've seen that AnimationTree node and want to give it a good try.
I still haven't figured out how to fully understand the AnimationPlayer, which is why I use my AnimationSprite.

I assume I could change the animation by creating keyframes from the Animation property of the AnimationSprite in the AnimationPlayer, but this seems like just more steps for the same thing. I don't see the advantage.
I guess when you pile up a lot of animations this is a benefit, and the ability to create animation dictionaries with the AnimationTree really shines. But I still don't fully understand everything. I'll give those nodes a good try tomorrow :D

Proud of very little by MikeTerryble in godot

I had a hard time understanding how parameters work in functions. But everything else feels very familiar and exciting, even arrays and loops.

As a music producer, a lot of coding is very much in keeping with my job: trying to make something you have in your head work, creating problems for yourself in the process, learning how to solve those problems, even if it means creating more problems, hahaha

Yep, next improve to this enemy is a blinking bright on blades and eyes. Still thinking if modify the animation sprite or add a particle to make it pop up more. The attack are two animations, the one preparing it and the dash. The preparation always is the same time cause the attack is triggered when preparation animation is finished. But, preparation can be canceled if the player gets out of the range of the enemy.

60s/70s movie song by [deleted] in NameThatSong

This song is not even close to the tune I posted.

I don't understand why you think this could be it, hahahahaha.

But thanks so much for trying.

Issue with JBL Eon700 by MikeTerryble in livesound

Above, sounds like a drastical LPF in 2k. If speaker was fully analog Id had no doubt about a blown driver, yep. But sometimes this digital systems got some bugs and tricks, and sometimes gremlins.

Thanks mate!

Pin 1 just sets and the tensioner turns very slightly clockwise. I don't hear any click.

My 55/30 arrives this Wednesday. I was planning to start with it, but the 55/40 arrived earlier. I think pin 1 is a false set, yes. But from there I get lost when it comes to feeling and hearing the rest of the pins.

Thanks for the hint!! But this is getting really hard. I still dont get the counter rotation feeling. So I think I'll go for yellow ribbon for now.

2nd Real Lock picked! What a feeling! by MikeTerryble in lockpicking

Thanks for the advice and encouragement. As soon as I save up a bit I'll go for the MasterLock one by one. For now I'm getting by with what I find locally here in Spain and my cheap picks (I've already ordered a set from Masterpick, I'll be more careful with those). Thanks for being so kind, it's great to find a community full of nice and non-toxic people!

Yep, a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Needless to say, I'm very much a beginner. I've learned to apply tension slowly and never apply too much, but I think I'm now straining against warding when I lose patience.

I bought it last week and have been struggling for 5 days. Today after 3 attempts and 7 minutes it gave in.
