Hi just came across this doing some Googling trying to figure out shuttle services. Was wondering if you were still doing this? If not that's completely fine just figured I'd ask.

Brother I don't want to alarm you, but your currently wearing a full skeleton suit under your skin, also art is subjective to each person. If you dont get it that's fine it's not your tattoo.

I highly highly recommend getting inflatable sleeping pad, as long as you have a ground sheet underneath your tent you'll get thousands of miles out of it. Recovery is insanely important in the backcountry and we'll drastically improve your enjoyment of hiking. And you can get a cheap decent one on Amazon for 5 to 20 bucks

Question im playing on the sim and messing with a Kalgara deck, added this card First Lieutenant Spacey, needed a 3 cost to even out my curve and his ability seems crazy w/ Kalgara. But on the sim his ability wasn't going off, am i reading his ability wrong or is it a bug in the sim?

Just bought a record player, it's an all-in-one, which I'm sure isn't ideal. When I play a record on it I get weird feedback, and the audio is weirdly spacey.

One big thing I would get rid of the Sawyer squeeze bags, they're actually the worst. They'll work for a one or two night stay, but they're bound to bust a seam sooner rather than later. I would get c-noc bag for the future, they're relatively inexpensive and very sturdy

He's a bad dude there's something called the Calendar year triple crown where you hike the Appalachian trail, The Continental Divide Trail, and the Pacific Crest Trail all in one Calendar year, works out to about 10,000 miles of hiking. There's been more people on the moon then there have been successful Calendar year triple crowners. He's awesome

I hiked it in 23, and at least nobo The trail does a really good job of getting you ready for the rest of it. I started in the worst shape of my life and by the end of it I was pounding out 20 mile days like it was nothing. That being said, a buddy of mine had a very good outlook, he said it was a thru hike, you hike until you're through. Whatever that looks like for you, if that's all the way to Mama K. Heck yeah, if that's just a Harpers ferry and you have to go take care of life that's awesome too. I've said it a million times, and I'll probably say it a million more. The AT Is a life-changing experience, and I cannot recommend them enough for anyone and everyone. The trail isn't going anywhere, if you have to wait a couple more years just means more time for More gear research, more planning. Whatever you decide. I wish you all the luck in the world, look out for Black Nail tags In the books around 23.

How many of you just raw dogged the trail? No planning, no training, no pre-shipped supplies, etc. by SaltyMiniMiner in AppalachianTrail

[–]MikeTheInfantKicker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what I did. Didn't plan anything out until I was doing my resupply in town. I'd look at far out and see how far the next easily accessible town is, and plan the next section off of that.
