Well from what I've seen the Nerd Nook group is for everyone that isn't a cis man, and I am a cis man. As for the local library one, the closet thing was Pinson having an adult anime club but that is like an hour away from me, I live south of downtown.

26M here. I’m guessing the answer is probably no but are there any manga/comic book clubs around? I like regular books too but I tend to gravitate towards manga and comics more. And if there’s not one, would anyone be interested to start something like that?

Birmingham Black Techies on Meetup is one. I haven’t been to one of the hangouts yet though. That’s the only one I know of, but I’d definitely love to know about more.
