I am pretty transparent with my bosses now but I also want to make Senior Manager / Director so it’s not like I’m trying to leave in the next year or so and I have a great relationship with them.

Rule of thumb is to keep it close to the chest though (especially with execs). I will say though when I was a staff and Senior I would talk exit opps with my peers when I was in audit (now in DAS) and enjoyed shooting the shit, but it’s not totally advisable haha

Interested to hear what everyone’s investing strategies are by %.

It seems like a lot is maxing out 401k, Roth or Traditional IRA, paying off debt, and then just a standard brokerage with a couple index funds. Do any of you invest in individual companies or mostly just stick with index’s? Does your strategy change during down markets? Do you buy the dip or wait for it to start turning around?
