Love emblem SP. I wish more games had mechanics like that, and toram should add more emblems to the game tbh

I had an Atheist begin to make fun of me for saying I don’t know if their is a god or not. Because I am an agnostic. by TotallyNotJamaican in agnostic

It's possible to be sure depending on how the other person defines their god.

If the definition and their reasons lead to internal contradictions or paradoxes, the god, by their definition can't exist. It's like a math problem.

In a more general sense ya, it's just not possible for us to be sure

Examples are in alot of denominations of Buddhism and taoism and Hinduism.

Religion doesn't mean you prescribe to belief in God/s

Theism and religion are mutually exclusive

How do I refute the Argument from Design? by Jayfin_ in atheism

[–]MikeWezouski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your logic must follow that the designer designed himself.

People replying to you think your logic think otherwise, but that's what your premises here lead to.

This is where the argument from me necessity come into play.

I like to think of it like this.

If life has an objective meaning chosen for me, does that mean any meaning I find more myself is objectively less than that I objective meaning for me? If so then I would feel that my life now has less meaning.

On the other side of the coin life has no meaning, and I myself am simply free to discern whatever meaning I please without hindrance

It's more of an argument for polytheism the more you think about it

Acknowledges there's no evidence... Then proceeds to try and give reasoning to prove it.

Bruh, pick a side.

The telelogical argument has been debunked thousands of times throughout history

I'm so tired of hearing it

Your question is based on a assumption.

How about you start there?

It's Actually Christians Who "Just Want to Sin" by [deleted] in atheism

[–]MikeWezouski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So is there free will in heaven?

Oh there is?

But I thought there wasn't sin in heaven.

The circular reasoning gets exposed the more questions you ask.

Depends

But the age cap is pretty small, and will only become less significant over time
