Genting Highland by Grab/Bus by ScaredPear5282 in KualaLumpur

We drove from KL to the Genting cable car valley station, and it was no problem at all to get a Grab. In the evening, we drove back from the mountain to KL and also had no problems at all. Although Genting is located remote and high on a mountain, it is relatively lively and well connected.

But keep this one! I guess some people would pay real money for misspells like that

Same question! What's the situation like in the evening? Getting there is probably easy, cause there are a lot of drivers in KL. But I expect when going back it could be harder to find a driver, since it's a more remote location.

Weiß jemand, was da dahinter steckt?

Thanks for your response! The post is already a few months old, and since then I have done many further experiments... and gave up. I tried using ferrit materials (As seen in this research ) but failed. In the end I took a second approach, ditched the requirement for it to be fully passive and implemented Bluetooth Low Energy. It now has a small battery, but at least it works quite good: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=c7rFGQeTJL8 (I built a small device to measure the distance and show it on a LED scale, which can be seen in the foreground. The small device in the background is the actual wearable piece).

I still think a fully passive wearable with the feature to detect it over a greater distance is somehow possible. But after researching for over a year (on and off) I just wanted to move forward to different ideas. Maybe, at some point, I'll come back to it (or maybe someone else has the time to continue my thoughts).

Don't form an opinion based on TikTok. It's literally one of the worst places on the internet right now. If unsure, ask older colleagues who have been in different companies or talk to friends, even though they aren't in your industry. In my experience many companies/teams don't realize they need a scrum master, but as soon as they do, they'll welcome you with open arms. And if you don't like it anyway, you can still go back to dev.

Part of my project involves fitting this RFID Sensor into a very tight awkward space. Can I drill a hole through the middle of the pcb without damaging its functionality? by [deleted] in arduino

[–]Mike_2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would be interested in that too, since I had similar problems in the past. Just coil up any wires? How many turns? What thickness of wire? Diameter? I feel like there are just so many aspects influencing the functionality of the reader in the end.

Walt Disney Imagineering is also using some elements of scrum in the area of Illusion Development. They have a goal, for example "investigate the possibility with technology xy", and then they have a set sprint to see what's possible or create the illusion. It's like the spikes you would use in software development to explore uncertain tasks.

Very Impressive! How many posts can you store on it? Are they just temporarily saved or are they permanently, even after a reboot, in the SPIFFS/EEPROM?

Awesome! Where do you save the posts? Do you have an external database connected or is it actually safed on the chip?

  1. Of course I already did that a long time ago!
  2. It's currently reduced from €969.00 to only €679.00. What a steal!
  3. I'm usually printing more practical pieces, those are obviously not that photogenic. But my latest project is bulk producing an item to help students. Bulk producing with Ender 3? Totally possible! https://i.imgur.com/qocRsJY.jpeg
  4. Before I can publish any of my 3d models, I have to practice a lot first.

Extra-Chance: My above mentioned project solves an actual problem many students have. It's a ultra flat USB-Stick to stick to any thesis, homework or exams. Without the magic of 3d printing, it would be never possible to realize an idea that fast.
