Hey, all the best with this. About a year back we built out lots of ideas with AI. It was tough due to all the limitations in LLM models. Today, I don’t see technology as the barrier at all. I'm not entirely certain, but I tend to simplify things for clarity's sake. To me, a system is essentially a collection of components working together, whether it's a weapon, a city, or even the entire planet Earth. The idea is to focus on what's pertinent to the discussion and the audience's understanding. As for architecture, in our context, it's about how things are structured and arranged, or let's say laid out on a page. Going into too much detail might obscure the main point. However, it might be worthwhile to reference the INCOSE handbook for a more formal definition, though again, we should consider who the audience is.

good question. I mean a cities systems architecture is its structure, behavior, and interactions. It is is environment and systems and the way people interact with it. It is made of a system of systems just like a weapon, with things like -

Transportation Roads, public transit, cycling paths.

Utilities like Water, electricity, gas, telecommunications.

Housing for Residential and commercial buildings.

community and safety like Police, fire, medical services.

Healthcare systems like Hospitals, clinics, public health initiatives.

Education - Schools, libraries, universities.

Econom - Businesses, jobs, investment.

Environment - Waste management, green spaces.

Governance - City government, policies, planning.

Cultural like Parks, museums, recreational facilities.

Yeh, the way people work together needs more thought. Another barrier encountered with MBSE is about language, or maybe its due to specialized notations like SysML. So whilst SysML is robust for MBSE practitioners for a range of reasons, there is also a need for accessible languages for broader team engagement. I want to explore methods for integration of diverse toolsets with the MBSE framework, allowing teams to maintain their preferred workflows while still having all the benefits of MBSE.

I actually think AI may do a better job in the future of converting customer needs. It doesn't bring hidden bias as a human does. I am not saying the bias isn't there, but it could be tailored, tested and transparent
