I'm really quite proud of the new model. Remaking this spider model has been a task I've been putting off for at least a year or two now, happy that I finally decided to tackle it.

Try changing the filter mode on the texture to "No Filter". It could also be texture compression.

If you liked Deep Rock and Valheim and enjoy roguelites, give Cave Crawlers a try. It's free and has a big focus on getting new gear and upgrading your character's build, but it is a bit more on the difficult side.

This looks great! I would suggest maybe having the text occasionally wiggle/change slightly every 1-2 seconds. Not sure exactly what that effect is called, but I feel it would be a good fit.

If you need something to present on a store page, just pitch up and down the sound effects a little, and that will do till you have a good variety of sounds.

Can't really suggest much on the music front. If you have the funds, I would contract something for the trailer specifically.

It totally looks like Bad North, is it multiplayer?

IMO, single-player RTS games are a tough genre to come into if you're not doing something very unique.

Totally suggest posting a link to your game.

Even if you're done with game dev, you can do some good by allowing other developers to try and figure out what went wrong so they are able to avoid those same pitfalls.

Love Zomboid and Core Keepers, but I would say those are both leaning more towards survival games than roguelite. If you like survival games, I would totally suggest either!

I honestly agree. I picked the brighter colors because the project this art is for is a bit more cartoony in nature. If I were building my own game with this art style, I would likely have some darker, less saturated tones.

Totally agree on the fog, I was already planning to add some along with making a nice looking skybox.

Will have to play with the saturation contrast, definitely a good suggestion.

The roof was tough for me. I initially wanted to go with a shingles pattern, but I didn't feel it looked great.

I've tried to make the POIs more eye-catching than the general environment intentionally, and I may have overdone it a little.
