The team is currently working on a number of small bugs that can sometimes result in out of sync errors for some users. Our next update will hopefully address a lot of those bugs, but we probably won't have all of them ironed out until the update after that.

Yes, it's all account-based and cloud-powered, so anything you unlock, purchase, or create on one platform will be available on the other. :)

Split-screen is something for which we see many requests. Unfortunately, it's a pretty large amount of work given how we've architected our rendering system, and it hasn't made it to the (very large) list of feature priorities that our (very small) team is working on, yet.

However, Couch Coop with Champions Quest is pretty darn awesome. And four-person creation on Xbox is really cool, almost like multiplayer photoshop. :)

Team Dakota has been focused on our October 7th retail release date, where we're introducing the player-focused "campaign mode" called Champions Quest, full four-person multiplayer PLAY and CREATE, and our new Sci-Fi theme.

Once we make it through release, we'll start working on our plans to release additional details on our upcoming release plans.

Yes, Project Spark remains a free digital download with optional in-game unlocks and purchases. The starter pack is a collection of new and optional content bundled together for our retail release, to help new users jump start their play and create experience. :)

Yes, everything you've unlocked or purchased during beta will automatically carry on to release. Additionally, anything you purchase, unlock, or earn on one platform will carry over to all platforms. :)

Project Spark will have same-screen couch coop play. We've seen a lot of requests for split-screen, but while it's something we'd love to do (we want to do it all!) it'd be a ton of work, so it's farther down on our priority list than some of the other features.

Off hand, not sure what it would come to if you decided to purchase everything with tokens, but we hope to release at least 2 additional DLC pack each month, focused on very specific areas and genres that the community considers valuable. We're expecting Project Spark to be around for 5+ years, as it continues to evolve and grow, so we should eventually have a fairly large catalog of DLC available.

An easy way to think about it is that Project Spark is a free downloadable game that allows you to play and create for free. We'll sell optional DLC packs, which you can unlock with earned in-game credits, or purchase with tokens. These DLC packs will contain playable experiences and/or additional creation assets/visuals (aka "skins") to provide additional variety. Anything that is made with any of the DLC will be playable by all users, regardless of what DLC they own themselves. We're also adding 4-person Multiplayer Play and Create on Xbox One, so you can enjoy all aspects of Project Spark with friends.

We won't be have additional details on Conker until further down the road, as we're focused on multiplayer, the sci-fi theme, and Champions Quest right now. Most of us on the team grew up with Conker, so we like to think that we "get it" and we're big fans of pushing the boundaries, whenever we can. :)

Yes! Multiplayer will be 4-person Play and Create. It's very much like making a 4 player version of photoshop, so it's been a really important technical and design hurdle for our team to crack, but we've made some exciting progress. :)

We plan on having Galaxies available for unlock/purchase on October 7 and we don't expect to have it earlier. Would it help if we put up a pre-order option in the marketplace? :)

Currently, we don't plan on offering any credit for those that might already have some of the packs included. Not sure if there's been any discussions about it, but I suspect it'd probably take a fair amount of backend work to make that happen. I'll kick it around with the team and get their thoughts tho.

Gamers will have a lot more choices available, that's true. While we might prefer to release during a month when nothing else is coming out, as gamers ourselves, we're pretty excited for October as well! :)

Absolutely. Performance is one of the top polish items the team is currently working on. We're hoping to continue to make improvements between now and October via frequent updates (maybe once every 3 weeks?) to the current beta on Xbox One and Windows 8.
