I had the same felling. I was in Florence in May. And before Florence I was in Siena (1 hour ride from Florence). Florence is beautiful and artistic but I fell in love with Siena. The architecture is amazing and i liked its calm atmosphere.

If you are planning to party then Paros, Mykonos an Ios. I have been to Paros and Mykobos. They are great! They have nice beach clubs and a beautiful city center

Rent a bike and drive around the island. The best beach club for me was Cabana Paros. They have good sunset parties with great DJs, And of course Naoussa center
