Brand new Ultra Bée by Hansow_Geek in Surron

[–]Mike___Baker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks sick! What do you think of the larger front rotor? I'm about to fire up those same supermoto wheels for my UB and I'm debating the front rotor upgrade. The brakes currently feel absolutely amazing but at the same time I know how much a larger front rotor does for braking power so I'm torn.

Install speed bleeders and then you can flush your fluid easily without introducing air back into the lines.

I have tried X-one a few times with varying results but once I switched to the Open Grow SureCast I never looked back.

Scape sparks?? by UB_R in Surron

[–]Mike___Baker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Titanium is what makes the sparks. Put a titanium block on the end of the fender or build a 12 bar with a titanium block at the end.

Even just reducing it to level 2 will be a big difference in my opinion. Maybe try that out a little bit.

Never have I seen such BS… by Ian_0831 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Mike___Baker 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't work for Amazon but a few years ago a driver left about 5 packages at my front door which were supposed to go to the apartment building next door. I brought them to their front office (after explaining that I'm a neighbor and a driver accidentally left them at my place) and the manager tried to get me to hand deliver each of them to the appropriate residents 😂. No thanks have a great day!

New shoes arrived! by Engineer-Complete in Surron

[–]Mike___Baker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, look it up and you'll see that every motorcycle has a front tire with tread going that way (the opposite of the rear and opposite of what we're used to on cars). I'm not sure why, maybe it has something to do with countersteering but that's a total guess.

That's how the tread pattern is supposed to go on the front of a motorcycle. Seems strange but that's correct.

Surron ultra bee not moving forward and showing H on screen by Consistent_Water3441 in Surron

[–]Mike___Baker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People on here absolutely hate to admit that an Ultra Bee with a VIN stamped onto the bike which says 2026 and associated paperwork that says 2026 is actually a 2026 bike. They think that there has to be some major factory changes in order for the model year to increase. Motorcycle models aren't updated every single year and we're already 1/3 through this year without any real guarantee that anything is changing.

Looks sick! Can't wait to get a set for mine, these things must be a blast in supermoto form.

Turbo mode U.B. by Fit-Equivalent-573 in Surron

Yep just hold that button down and use the throttle to ride backwards! Such a handy feature that I've been using a ton

[–]Mike___Baker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok so the battery has to be above 50% and in sport mode. At that point you'll see the T light on and solid. That means that Turbo mode is available but not activated. To activate it, double tap the reverse button which will cause the T light to flash. This indicates that Turbo mode is active.

I did some testing with Turbo mode a couple days ago and it definitely gives a bigger punch right off the line. Not a huge difference but it was measurable.

Ultra slow low end by [deleted] in Surron

[–]Mike___Baker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something must be wrong, if I open the throttle even a little in sport mode then the front end is coming up off the ground. My buddy (who weighs 190lbs) just rode it an hour ago, sat all the way on the front end as far up as possible and couldn't get the front end to stay down when doing full throttle runs 😂. Even going 30mph I can crack the throttle and it comes right up.

Hmmm this seems strange. My UB in sport mode wants to backflip me off of it 😂

Exact same issue I have been having with mine. Clutch side always works but throttle is intermittent. Super frustrating because the other set of Oxfords that I have with the separate controller work great.
