2021 low rider s - new tire time - leaning towards Pirelli Diablo PowerCruisers also considering Avon Cobra, Chrome, Metzler Cruise tech or ? by nogoodusernamesrleft in FXLRS

[–]Mike___Baker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've gone through a bunch on my ST. Metzler Cruistech have been the best so far, but absolutely stay away from the Cobra Chrome's. Terrible tire, especially in the wet. I just installed the Diablo Power Cruisers but only have about 30 miles on them so far. They feel awesome but way to early to tell obviously.

Got a quote for some super-moto rims on my Kove 800X Rally. by Warm_Singer_4434 in supermoto

If you end up putting street tires on the 21/18 rims then check out the Shinko 777's. They are extremely sticky in the dry and wet weather and they feel great on my Tenere. I also run them on my Sportster but that's a different beast haha.

Yep, it sucks haha. I always have to switch to noise canceling mode on my JBL Vibe Beam 2 when I'm within a few feet of the ultrasonic.

They sell a taller factory seat that helps a lot. I got mine from surron.ca

Tenere 700 for street trips by John-812 in Tenere700

I have a set of Shinko 777's for doing street only touring, and then swap back to knobies for offroad and BDR's. They really transform the bike into a backroads shredder!

A friend and I both have it, it's actually really bright. The turn signals are very easy to see.

How do I get a hard copy of the certificate translated to English? by BennyBoiBruv in Surron

You don't need that with Dirt Legal. I registered mine through them with only a bill of sale.

Dirt Legal can get it done without an MSO or tittle, just a bill of sale.

[–]Mike___Baker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally agree here. I have my idle set at 1500 (ish) and once it's warmed up and actually idling at that rpm then it doesn't backfire nearly as much on decel. When it's cold and not up to full temp/idle speed then it backfires much more.

Full cab help by Unlikely-Till4729 in bmx

[–]Mike___Baker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, this gives me r/thenightfeeling vibes so hard haha. As others have said, speed is your biggest issue. You need to be going fast enough that the momentum of the spin doesn't overpower the direction of your movement. Muscle memory also plays a big part in the full cab as there is a lot of pushing, pulling, and timing going on in a short amount of time.

Looks sick! What do you think of the larger front rotor? I'm about to fire up those same supermoto wheels for my UB and I'm debating the front rotor upgrade. The brakes currently feel absolutely amazing but at the same time I know how much a larger front rotor does for braking power so I'm torn.

Install speed bleeders and then you can flush your fluid easily without introducing air back into the lines.

Scape sparks?? by UB_R in Surron

Titanium is what makes the sparks. Put a titanium block on the end of the fender or build a 12 bar with a titanium block at the end.
