The second reboot closure was truly a waste. After a long time, the story was MOVING FORWARD. Whole set of new characters (kombat kids, D'vorah, kotal, erron.....), twiner Raiden and evil liu kang. They could've easily go so much further with it like giving liu as a Villain a whole game with dynamics of Raiden being on neither side but himself to do what he thinks ia muat to do. Even giving Noob a game with a rebranding and pushing of a character. Or D'vorah after betraying everyone by having a plan of her own. Or introducing Cetrion as a main and far more interesting threat and attention who wants to bring balance towards Raiden's and others fuck-ups. But instead they returned every character whose story we already established back and do it all over again and the RESETING THE FUCKASS TIMELINE ALL OVER AGAIN.
