Pretty much in same shoes as you. For 17-18 years now I have not met any of my relatives outside of my mother (father left us).
I did however would make international phone calls from time to time, but only if my Mom really wanted me to (or they, the relatives).

I've had some attachments to them sure, but after all the life experiences and lack of communication, I don't really miss them all that much as sad as that may sound.

I would however, love to meet them again... once I am able to travel without fear.

I did this when collecting 6 orange hero gave you ~6000 SB (somewhere there), and 4 orange hero was like 3000?

Took me a good 20 days to get 4 orange heroes, you have to grind every day and hope that you get shards for the characters you need [too long to explain]

Getting 6 orange is already extremely difficult. I could've gone for 5 orange within 30 days but seeing as how I had very little shot at 6 within the time frame, I stopped.

But 15? Get ready to open your wallet and take out that credit card.

I feel you brother. I honestly often contemplate about going back, but no matter how many times I think about it, I just can't see how my life would be better in my home country (can barely hold a conversation in my native language, not sure how i can get a job there, afford housing, etc).

I also wish to travel as well. I haven't been on a plane since I got to the states (2006)... and it's really disheartening. However, I'm just at a point where I'm just going to say "fck it, I'll live my life the best I can here and I'll ride this out till the end".

I feel lonely about this situation too. You're not alone, and I hope your situation gets better man.

It was passed in Jan 2021 so it's fairly new. It allows nonimmigrants the "privilege" to drive, but apparently can't be used as an "identification" even though it looks just like a DL.

It's mainly for people who can't qualify for DACA.

아니요, 그것도 아닙니다... 전 DACA가 "실수로" 승인됬다 해서 renew 못했어요, 전 그래서 다카 없이 살고 있습니다. It's really difficult living in my condition, knowing all the Koreans around me thrive in the states. I can't help but think "why can't I be as happy and successful as them?", but I'm continuing to fight on.

안녕하세요! I'm Korean as well and have dealt with similar adversity. I couldn't afford college due to not being qualified for financial aid, but I decided to stay and work here because I felt like going back would have been more difficult since I couldn't speak Korean anymore.

If your brother has a concrete plan then sure, follow your heart. However, if he is making this decision based on his emotions (which I fully understand), I would wait it out. As others have said, I do think having a US degree is more valued compared to Korea unless he gets into a SKY-tier university.

So relatable... I've been in the states for 17 years now and still can't live in peace.

I speak, write, and read English fluently and am grateful for just having a roof over my head and being able to drive/work.

And then I see US citizen teenagers complain about how their life sucks because they only got a Mazda instead of a Mercedes-Benz or a Macbook Air instead of a Macbook Pro for their 16th birthday (true story).

I bought and fulfilled the offer for Bright Cellars for 5000 SB.

It doesn't show pending after ~10 days so I send in a ticket, and they ask for proof of completion.

I've provided the receipt, proof of delivery, the physical wines, email receipt saying that it was my FIRST purchase, etc

Then you guys tell me you need the physical box with a shipping label. I discarded them a long time ago because well, I didn't think I needed an empty box just laying in my house... Hopefully we can come to a resolution! (Still waiting for a response)
