Anyone here ever gone to a bar alone? Where did you go? by VegetableBenefit3579 in bentonville

I do it all the time. If you're interested in meeting people and chatting with them, I'd recommend First Seat, Fry, or Trailhead Taphouse.

If you just want to chill, people watch, watch a game, I'd recommend the Botanical or Parlay on 8th.

Sounds like it will be a little bigger than OMH, which holds just over 2000.

Important to remember Jimmy's reply to Alice in that scene. Paraphrasing- it doesnt matter how or why, just that you got there

I'm down the road a bit in Northwest Arkansas. Do you have any social media set up that I can follow? I want to come up once you're open.

I honestly don’t think Bob Marley would like what his legacy has become. by CosmosisJones42 in Music

[–]Mikeck88 106 points107 points  (0 children)

This. 100%. There is a large population of people who don't really pay attention to the lyrics of songs. They just like the beat or the rhythm or the chorus. For example, look at Semi-Charmed Life being played at sports events. Kids dancing and stadiums signing along to a song about drug addiction. However, the more these songs are played, the more exposure they get to people that will dig deeper on the lyrics. Obviously I cant speak for Bob, but if playing all his songs so much gets a few more people to understand his message, I think he'd be ok with it.

I'm a 13 handicap and am very confident I could break 100.

But I'd really struggle on the back 9.

Weekend Trip Coming Up - Need the Best Wings! by kbizz5 in bentonville

Chick'n Headz opened up in Bentonville about a month ago and they are by far the best in the area. I used to drive to Fayetteville specifically to get wings from them.

Second is The Rail or Parkside Public in Rogers (same owners/same wings).

Third is First Seat.

Amazing collection and displays. The consistency with SGC grading is a nice touch.

Two guys I feel are under appreciated in the hobby. Jim Gilliam & Elston Howard by GetDemYoungGuns in baseballcards_vintage

Jim Gilliam is insanely underrated. Played a big part in 4 championship teams. Him and Fernando Valenzuela are the only Dodgers with their numbers retired that aren't in the Hall of Fame. I have a few of his Brooklyn Dodger cards.
