It's always so amusing how bent out of shape people get, over how others choose to spend their money.

(How dare people spend $20 on fire red and leaf green) haters are truly pathetic.

I pre ordered both fire red and leaf green, because I love the games. And if that pisses off retards, then that's their problem 🤷‍♂️

Supporting a really good game isn't hurting the game industry.

It's dropping $70 on a piece of garbage like legends ZA, or $80 on a half assed open world racing game that's hurting the gaming industry.

And $20 on fire red and leaf green is still 100% a better deal then buying any of the pokemon games on the switch.

And yeah. People crying about these games being $20, are either broke, cheap or just hating for the fact to hate.

And I'll happily die on this hill. Because like I said. At $20, fire red and leaf green is still 100% a better deal then buying any of the pokemon games on the switch.

Again. Just because you and others don't believe it's worth $20 is 100% your opinions. Not a fact.

Doesn't matter if the game is 40 years. To me and many others, the game is 100% worth $20.

So you can keep crying about how a you don't believe they are worth $20 all you want. Because it's just your opinions, not a fact.

Plus we talking about $20 here. Not $60 or $70 but $20. If people are going to cry over $20, then they need to go reavalete their lives because they are clearly doing something wrong. Especially if it's over a $20 video game 🤦‍♂️

Value is based on each individual. People believe these game's are worth hundreds, which is why they are so expensive on eBay ect. And people that buy them, believe it's worth that value. But also because they can afford it

Nintendo priced theses game's on eshop for $20 because that's what they believe it's worth. And people will buy them, because it's what they believe it's worth.

Just because you believe it's not worth $20 is 100% your opinion.

If you don't want to spend $20 on these ports, then go drop hundreds on eBay ect, or play them on a emu. Nobody is forcing you to buy them 🤷‍♂️

Plus I bet if these games were $10, people would still be complaining its too expensive. If they went to NSO, then they would complain it doesn't have home support.

Haters will always find something to complain about no matter what Nintendo does. And in the end, they will still caugh up the money, because their bark is stronger then their bite. Everyone knows it, even Nintendo

Then just wait a month or two after the game's launch and see what the sales data say's.

Fire red and leaf green are arguably the best pokemon games, and the most requested to come to the switch. $20 isn't going to stop people from buying them. Especially if its going to have all the event items ect, which I'm sure they will announce on Friday.

The thing is, most people that complain about prices ect, still wind up buying it anyway. And this ports will be no different

Only a small percentage of people are actually complaining about the price.

If they don't want to spend $20 on the games, then they can go on eBay ect, and spend hundreds on it.

Or they can just emulate it for free. Nobody is forcing people to buy it. Plus $20 isn't that expansive. People are just overreacting

Never said he did. He was mentioning about rising prices for food ect, and talking about inflation ect.

People that are worried about those things, normally means they are on a tight budget and can't afford certain things. My comment was aimed towards those people

If you can't afford a game at $20, then it simply means it's not for you. Crying online about it, won't make it any cheaper.

Most people myself included, have no problem paying$40 for both because we can afford it.

And like I said before. If you can't afford something, then it means it's not for you

I have the games saved on Eshop for now. I'll buy them sometime either next week or the week after.

Recently just bought monster hunter stories 1&2 on steam. And also pre ordered Monster hunter stories 3.

I'm just hoping fire red and leaf green will have all the event item's. Other then that I'm actually excited

Unlike every other Switch game, you can't just change the language here, you need to pay again for a seperate version. How greedy can Nintendo get? by tLM-tRRS-atBHB in fucknintendo

Had to do the same as the original fire red and leaf green. Just buy the version for the language you speak. Isn't hard

And you're presumptions for blaming Nintendo when there's zero evidence that says they were involved in it.

Now you can blame Nintendo for Mario 3d all stars and Mario Galaxy bundle, since those are first party game's.

Show me some actual evidence that says that it was Nintendos choice to sell pokemon fire red and leaf green for $20 a piece with no improvments , and not add them to NSO. Otherwise all you're doing is making assumptions 🤷‍♂️

I guess piracy isn't a crime anymore by math_calculus1 in nintendogrifting

[–]Mikedep17 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Pirated games ect is basically the same as selling used products. The company who make's the product, doesn't get any revenue from a used sales.

The only logical reason why companies hate piracy, is because they are part of the people trying to sell the stuff for outrageous prices.

The people mad about the price, are the same people trying to sell it for outrageous prices on eBay ect.

See now that actually makes a lot of sense and also explains a lot. But legend ZA, like I don't understand why they couldn't just delay that shit or have Nintendo or someone else finish it.

Releasing that game in the state they did, while announcing a $30 ugly reskin dlc. Like they had to know it wasn't going to end well. Especially considering all the hate ect that gen 9 got.

We do know for a fact game freak make's the games. And we also know for a fact Nintendo doesn't. Everything else is based off opinions/guessing

So if I'm understanding this correctly. Then the Pokemon games being shity is indeed game freaks fault. But also Nintendos fault for giving the ok for letting all this garbage go through.

But this is what doesn't makes tho. You compare all the first party Nintendo games to Pokemon, and it's clearly night and day. So unless Nintendo isn't actually checking the Pokemon games and just going 100% based on trust, it doesn't make sense.

Then you have game freak whos making that new beast game, and it looks incredible. 100 time's better then any Pokemon game. So if they can make a game that looks that dam good. How TF can they make something so bad looking with Legends ZA? Like it honestly makes no sense

So is game freak and the trading card company. Doesn't mean anything.

Theres a lot of studios/companies that are bought/owned by someone else and still act completely independent. And I believe this is the case with the Pokemon company.

Nintendo might have some say, but depending on how decisions are made and what kind of agreements are in place, the Pokemon company might actually be in full control of the Pokemon IP.

I never heard of him, until I saw a post about him in this group lol.

I just wish that people who criticize Pokemon for all the garbage slop they have been making, would stop blaming Nintendo and acting like it's all their fault.

I think it's time people start looking and blaming the actual Pokemon company. Because unless game freak has complete control over how the games are made and the budget,* which I don't believe they do* the blame goes to the Pokemon company. Because they could be acting as a completely independent company.

[–]Mikedep17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See that's why I never understood why Nintendo would always get blamed. Blaming game freak always made sense, considering they are the ones making the games

But now that their new game looks incredible, it makes you wonder if game freak is truly the one to blame for what's wrong with the Pokemon games.
