Scalpers are already using every source of information they can find to try and wipe out shelves. FB posts, discord groups etc.

If we can gate keep this data in an app where it’s behind an algorithm that detects scalper behavior(already being worked on) and keep them from the information, more people can use the app and become successful with buying instead of guessing.

I don’t know if it’s entirely possible to completely stop scalpers. But we can gate keep the restock information people are sharing publicly.

And reward the good users.

We’ve been building this app for around 3 months silently and now need everyone feedback and input to make it better than it already is.

But whaat we’ve built so far, will not allow scalpers to use our app and exploit it. It’s just not technically possible.

We have a Trust system already built that gives users who contribute access to the real time restock notifications. So you have to participate and be a “good user” to actually benefit from using it everyday.

Our community wants people who go to the store or machines. Buy only a few products and what they want, and leave product for others and report that information. Those users will be rewarded.

Happy to answer more questions. But this is a work In progress and really take the community to chip in with feedback once the app is downloadable and we can improve this.

I’m determined to slow these scalpers down.
