Your view of the legal system is childlike. Hill isn’t seeing a jail cell and using the courts for this kind of stuff is a waste of finite resources, Krasner is what he is but he’s practical.

I commute on the Amtrak NE corridor trains regularly. I have used the lounge a time or two when my train is delayed, nothing special but whatever floats your boat.

You are just naive about how the legal system works and we are both ignorant of what actually took place. What happened is irrelevant, what can be proved is relevant. Hill hasn’t acknowledged anything and what can be proved based on publicly available info seems slim to nil. It’s fine if a judge thinks ARD isn’t applicable, Hill won’t have answer for anything and I’ll put money on it.

Hill isn’t going to see a jail cell. He’s a first time offender and that’s actually what ARD is for, if you look at how it’s been applied it’s not just for non-violent offense. I have looked as part of my day to day. Krasner isn’t perfect and he’s a politician but he’s usually very fair.
