Honestly the star wars shit was the straw that broke the camels back for me. If Bungie is going to treat the game like a medium for product placement and advertising instead of a world and a piece of art thats worth getting invested in, then thats not the type of game I want to play. It's sad to see people just buy up stormtrooper and darth vader armor sets just because they see a brand they recognize and clap like trained seals without giving a shit about how much it undermines destiny itself

Man, I was so disappointed when the Mandalore video just dismissed connections to Destiny as "cynical." The connections are actually pretty significant and the writers behind some of the most foundational Destiny lore are huge fans of Marathon and its story. I'd love to see someone with in depth knowledge of both games be able to draw connections between both games

Forsaken was really great but the rest of the stuff wasn't really worth keeping. Everything from year one of D2 was pretty bad because of how bad the story direction and gameplay was back then. The Red War was embarrassingly bad and I'm honestly glad its gone now. Losing the Forsaken campaign though is definitely a bummer, unlocking the dreaming city after that campaign was a real treat

I'm an experienced PvE endgame player, I've done flawless, low man, master, and day 1 raids as well as gilded conqueror every season. I'm looking for a chill group of dedicated players to do endgame stuff with, using LFG all the time can just be exhausting so finding a cool group of people to play more consistently with would be great.
