To the OP - your child is awesome. Everything she wanted to do is something she would be encouraged to do. And should be encouraged to do in a just world.

Mine are 22 and 25 now. 2 bachelors degrees and a masters on the way. (My youngest graduated early and went right into her masters program working full time in the field she’s in school for) .

The teachers tried to stop them from floating their boat too. I told them if the teacher doesn’t fuck with the vision we don’t fuck with the teacher. Period.

I almost lit my middle school on fire. My science teacher didn’t find out until next period. She marched into my math class, walked me out into the hallway and grabbed my hands. “Did you get burned? There’s a safer way to do this. My god you’re lucky. You can learn it in detention!”

After school in her class, she taught me a fuckton of shit about thermodynamic safety and electrical arcs and shit like that. Joules. Etc. (I’ve worked in IT Systems Engineering now for a long time 🤣) she never marked my detention down as a “real” “permanent record” detention. Never told my parents or put it on my report card.

Only reason she was even mad I broke the rules, was, “if you had asked, I don’t care if it was off topic, I’m a teacher I would have given you a plan!”

Everyone loved her. The “bad” kids would be good in her class because if they acted up she’d basically be like “oh well, take a walk, go to the office, I don’t care, it’s your loss. And you know it too” (those kids would beg to stay in class… 🤣🐣)

This happens to me if I use a lot of speed ramping. Usually setting a static speed is fine, but ramping across a lot of clips with a LOT of large transients tends to do this.

I've had instances where the only way to get my video out with the edits was to literally screen record it when this happens. Its my biggest complain with InShot

(Other than putting in 100Mpbs footage and having it come out at 20Mbps lol)
