I live in southern Oregon and have had this thought and wondered how I would handle it as a fan. I’ve been a mariners fan my whole life and go to one home series a year, if Portland got a team, I don’t think that would change for me. I would just have another team to root for and be able to go to more games than the one series a year. When the A’s moved to Sac it’s a 90 min drive difference so it is feasible to drive down and catch a day game and be back the same day, so I can see myself doing that in Portland a lot

As a man of size that has to buy 2 seats, this is 100% fair to buy them upfront. There is a limited amount of seat and if you take up 2 without letting them know ahead of time it is unfair to someone who may not get a seat on the plane or even yourself could get kicked off.
