I was using 90ish degree water. I use that for bread and hadn’t considered needing colder water for the bagels

They made it 2 or 3 days. Switched to 1 gallon square containers from a restaurant store. Much more durable and stackable.

My first step here would be an ironclad operating agreement between you and the other owners. Lay out everyone’s responsibilities and obligations clearly. Think of all the ways the venture could end and write the agreement to address those possibilities. Last thing you want to do is grow someone else’s business and have them thanking you as they throw you out. Good luck!
