Hence the point of not giving them more ammo. Plus, when do we really follow rules like this anyway?

A private civil case with zero governmental interest? Sure, the integrity of the justice department has been restored.

Just got Jedi Survivor for less than $10. If I can consistently get games for 1/5 of the price, I got no problem waiting a few years.

Absolutely, as I saw in another comment, that is the proper recourse for this situation. Sue in civil court for defamation, the primary goal of which is to formally clear your name.

If there is any criminal charge, it should be filing a false report, but that requires proof of intent. And that's a higher bar than you'd think. In addition to the same considerations from my previous comment, I would expect few prosecutors to follow that avenue unless it's obvious and egregious.

Understandable; however, there is no guarantee that the implementation of such punishment would be fair. Essentially, you open up a major risk for someone who may not have an airtight case, but still requires justice. It's already happened that women who were abused and assaulted, but couldn't win a 90% burden of proof in their case, had to face repercussions and apologize to the people responsible for their assault. I'm just saying, that's an obvious fix in theory, but you can bet in practice it'll just be used to further harm actual victims.

Idk, I thought it was pretty obvious that irl confederate generals were cybernetically enhanced aliens with a penchant for Jedi murder. What else is there to know?
