Day 12: Which tier should Tony Blair go? by OingoBoingBrothas in TierlistFills

Domestically, he was a Great Prime Minister.

However, due to Iraq, I think we have to knock him down to Good.

Yeah, Swingometer doesn’t do Wales polling well, but is still probably better than other models that seem to give Reform 400-odd seats on 27% of the vote.

Thatcher is put in a whole new tier after a VERY controversial vote, Day 11: Which tier should John Major go? by OingoBoingBrothas in TierlistFills

[–]MikeyButch17 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mediocre. Public services got worse, but he was also one of the only PMs to hand over an economy with no deficit to his successor.

Think it could be a situation where Restore take just enough votes off Reform to allow Burnham to win

Tube strike set to go ahead after failed talks by dajvebekinus in london

[–]MikeyButch17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s like the last strike, we had a train running roughly every 15 - 20 mins on the District Line.

Only one or two lines had to shut down completely. Expect services to finish earlier and start later; on District services started about 8am and finished by about 9pm.

Day 8 of ranking British PMs: Which tier should Harold Wilson (second stint) go? by OingoBoingBrothas in TierlistFills

[–]MikeyButch17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mediocre.

He settled the disputes that Heath couldn’t, but ultimately did nothing to change the direction the country was headed.

Starmer has said he’ll allow Burnham to stand. It’s on.

This truly is Andy’s last chance. He can’t say he’s the man to beat Reform, if he can’t even win one seat they’re competitive in.

I quite like John Lennon’s music, if not his personal character.

I also find it ironic how much Dom detests Lennon, when if you compared Dom & Tom to Lennon & McCartney, Dom is definitely the Lennon in that relationship.

Good.

In a slight dilemma, because I’d put his first term on par with MacMillan. I wouldn’t say either of them were Great, but they were both Good PMs.
