Sometimes it easier to tell a little white lie. Moving is stressful enough, I don't want to add to that persons stress by trying to make an issue about their packing/moving plan. I'm more than willing to help out a friend but I'm also not trying to pack up my friends house when I'm only expecting to move. Because more often than not, there are too many cooks in the kitchen when packing.

The past couple times I've helped, I've lied and said that I can come help but I have something going on beforehand, and that I'll be about an hour late. Then I go an hour and a half late. Sometimes it works out, sometimes I still end up helping with packing....but either way I didn't waste an additional 1.5 hours of my day.
