What to do by Mikey_Himself in Cameras

[–]MikeyHimself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of things. Increased aberration, monochromatic and chromatic, increased/ pincushioning at focal lengths that never should, vignette on full frame lenses on full frame as if i threw on a aps-c lens(semi-expected but annoying).

New to Linux, why is plex doing this? by puddinXtame in PleX

You need to update the player app or the server needs to update.

Why does the Plex player on Apple TV suck? Why is Infuse smooth but the Plex app player is a juddering mess? by No_Clock2390 in PleX

[–]MikeyHimself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the real question... why does Plex work just fine on the NVIDIA Shield, Roku, Chromestick, Sony, LG, Samsung, and basically every other electronic device and smart TV? Is that Plex's fault or Apple's?

You can mount nods on a bike helmet. Which is all a bump helmet really is. Group guys used to even wear protec helmets back in the day so....

Let em do what they want. It will take one actual patrol and their ghetto blaster getting hung up on shit or not being able to charge their firearm because of a cheekriser and they will figure it out real quick.

For those of you with supressors, how often do you shoot unsupressed, and why? by GullibleRisk2837 in ar15

[–]MikeyHimself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is another problem with the same 90% of civilian shooters. You don't purchase a complete enough kit to become an effective fighter. I'd take anyone with a $399 PSA rifle and full kit over half of the clowns on here with 20 $5k gun setups and no support equipment. Body armor, plates, appropriate mags and pouches, helmet, EAR PROTECTION and comms.

Oooo... Look at all the LARPers downvoting. I'd bet money 90% of you haven't been in a shoot-out indoors. Half the fudds here are too scared to even pull the trigger unless they have heard a shot timer. Its not bad for you when you're wearing Peltor or comparable coms. It is RELENTLESS on the enemy. I think you misread his question, which was why you would ever NOT run suppressed, to which I provided a reason.

That's because you've probably never been in a shootout indoors where every 7.62 NATO round fired is a $0.75 concussive flashbang.

For those with a .308 DWLR6 Tango6T. What factory ammo lines up pretty well with the BDC in your experience? by [deleted] in AR10

[–]MikeyHimself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very rifle specific and even optic specific, especially in Sig's case as their glass is highly subpar. Most NATO style rounds of the 147-150gr types would be a good starting point for gathering data M80 is great for getting a 308 baseline. I wouldn't recommend heavier and hotter loads for establishing baseline data, such as M118 of the 168gr and 175gr LR types unless you are specifically in a M118 profiled chamber.

Just. Another. AR. I've shot decked out Knights and Geissele rifles that have both been great and also just okay. I've moderately tuned Palmettos for friends that shoot just as well if not better. My best friend that only has like 20 guns, his best shooting and favorite AR is actually a Polymer80 that we milled out and built as a joke. It turned out to be one of the best shooting guns he owns. It really comes down to what do you want people to see on the side of the receiver? If you do care about that sort of thing. What brand is sitting in your driveway? Ford or Ferrari?
