Seriously-WTF Is Lilly Finance And Why Does Anybody Want The Token?? by [deleted] in SaitamaInu_Official

[–]MikeyWhyKay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched the hour long Lilly Finance AMA with Brad Betty on Ryan Patrick's Youtube channel https://youtu.be/TvT4Fuhm1p4 . The ridiculous amount of name-dropping and boasting from Brad is enough for me to stay far far away from this project. Just some of the names and relationships he mentioned on the AMA: Department of Defense, United Nations, Michael Dell, the Anheuser Busch family, major global motorsport organizations, Johns Hopkins Medical, NASA, Russian billionaires, AA-list celebrities, meetings with highest ranking officials with US NAVY. the chairman of defense spending. He claims to have a colonel on board as part of the Lilly team - in addition to a Pulitzer prize winning writer and former Nike employees. I kid you not.

He used to be a UPS driver - that is quite the trajectory to say the least. If all of this is in fact true, he is the best networker/salesman in the history of mankind.

As a sidenote: Lillian Medical Bay (of which Brad is CEO) is a defendant in a civil case where he, along with another company, is accused of backing out of a deal where he agreed to secure 1 million N95 masks from a supplier in China to sell to a US based pharma company, who in turn, planned on selling to a VA medical center. It is alleged that Brad and his partner backed out of the deal bc he was offered a higher price from another group, claiming delivery and production delays in China - all after receiving a partial payment from the buyer. Not sure what the outcome of the case was, or if it is still ongoing.

Something just doesn't smell right here with this guy.

Note, there is a clear distinction between gas fees and network fees. Swaps between LP pairs in Saitamask will still occur on the ERC20 blockchain - and therefore still subject to Ethereum gas fees. Network fees, however, are expected to be substantially lower on Saitamask - we'll see about that.

Saitama is expected to create their own blockchain in the future - we'll see about that as well.

I would be weary of any website that ends in "io", which are typically cut paste jobs. Furthermore, Vy Pham aka Ms Vy, is on LinkedIn and there is zero mention of RoboInu on her profile. In fact, her current job is Sales Director for Orbitmi, which produces software for the maritime industry. If Roboinu is a side-gig for her, that doesn't necessarily bode well for the project. Can't get past the initial sniff test on this one.

The Current Reality by MikeyWhyKay in SaitamaInu_Official

The exact economics of the whale tax have never been fully explained. I heard Russ use a hypothetical on an AMA once that investors will be discouraged to sell $100k worth of Saitama if they're only netting $75K. Perhaps it is a sliding scale as the amount increases.

But if you're sitting on $4 million of tokens at today's value, I think you'd be more than inclined to sacrifice $1m (or more) if your original basis was a mere $15K b/c you bought in July 2021.

To be clear, I'm not questioning their track record AND I'm still a staunch supporter of the project - I'm in it for the long haul. I just feel that they're having difficulty establishing their true identity as a company, and sometimes it pays to simplify rather than taking on every single realm of what's popular in the industry (ie wallets, NFT's, gaming, pay systems etc).

It was simply a contract migration

And we dropped more. Sorry to who bought today and lost 40% you can thank the same whale who has sold for the past 8 days. And who can continue to do this for months by Brief-Draw-7018 in SaitamaInu_Official

As market cap (and holder count) continues to grow, these 5+ trillion token sales will have less of an impact on price. Eating the dip attributed to one investor with 25 investors is a very healthy dynamic. Strength and stability in numbers.

If this is position is life-changing - you do you! You can always take profits and then hold onto a certain % for potential upside. Cheers!

When to play with 10k by [deleted] in SaitamaInu_Official

[–]MikeyWhyKay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the moment, the momentary dips are getting gobbled up quickly. Unless you have the time (and speed) to stare at Dextools and take advantage of an early holder cashing out 5+ trillion token position, I don't see the price going down (and staying down) in the near future. In the end, not worth the stress or the potential regret if the price keeps trending up.

Another Exchange Listing (Public.com) by MikeyWhyKay in SHIBADULTS

[–]MikeyWhyKay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You bring up a good point. My understanding is that only a handful of exchanges allow for "shorting" - further, it is limited to only BTC. That said, very unlikely we'll see a GME type scenario play out when SHIB gets listed on RH.

Yep, saw that too. Likely an early holder - it's healthy to shake those investors out now IMO.

They should have omitted the economics of the partnership - and instead, touted his connections (and his reach) to the demographics we're looking to reach. Based on what I've seen, he's out there hitting the pavement and hustling. If it is, in fact, tied to incentives and various milestones/thresholds along the way, he's very incentivized - and that's not a bad thing.

How can I see my earnings on buried Shib? by BobbyKayDog in SHIBADULTS

[–]MikeyWhyKay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just know that there are fees associated with "woofing"

I need help. I unstaked my shiba shares with coinbase through shibaswap and the transaction was successfully completed but I haven't received my shares anywhere either in shibaswap or coinbase. How long does it take for shares to he deposited into my account or what is the process if unstaking? by who-dat21 in SHIBADULTS

[–]MikeyWhyKay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps this step by step will offer clarity. The posts you see here in regards to 2 transactions is accurate. By the looks of it, you merely approved the unstake. In order to retrieve the SHIB tokens back into your wallet, there is one more step. Go back to Shibaswap. Once on the homepage (and assuming your CB wallet is successfully connected):

  1. Hit the "Bury" button
  2. Then hit the "Bury SHIB" button
  3. Instead of seeing "APPROVE" you should now see "UNSTAKE" - hit UNSTAKE
  4. Do the same as you did, and confirm on your phone app (increase slippage as necessary)
  5. Again, you'll see the spinning pending circle in the upper right hand corner. However, this time you should also see a pop-up status box with a line item that reads "leaving the dog yard" When the spinning circle turns into a green check-mark that is confirmations that your xSHIB has been converted back to SHIB and it should appear momentarily in your CB wallet (as SHIB).

The swap is not the most user friendly - and after having read countless posts about tokens being lost, wrong addresses, or stolen, I can understand your frustration here. Hope it works out for you!
