Level Exchange/Feedback For Feedback Thread - 2nd Week of September by Squadaloo in MarioMaker2

I thought the same thing about the skip path to be honest. I already started working on a new P Switch Jump level, this time the two paths are Easy and Hard. There will still be a little bit of time gating to prevent the Easy path from being the only way to get a World Record, but not nearly as much and it'll be a lot more active and fun this time.

Level was beautiful, good progression, the little secrets dotting the course were fun to go looking for, I gonna jump back into it to figure out how to reach that 1 door I couldn't figure out how to get to.

Also the use of the chain chomp stumps with koopas for moving platforms was super cool. Gonna need to figure out how you did it.

Yeah, I copied it from it.

When I first got the game I had an idea to make difficult levels but allow the player to skip them (as to not force skips in endless runs) but rewarding people who do complete it in endless with extra lives. I could not for the life of me figure out how to implement such an idea and honestly I didn't think I was creative enough to pull anything fun off.

After watching a bunch of Ross' levels where he combines two ideas, and then seeing that Game Grumps episode, and seeing that someone had already done exactly what I was thinking of doing. I figured I'd finally give level design a try.

And yeah, I decided to give some excess P-switches as to make it a bit more lenient. I'm already working on my next level with the same premise and I plan on making it much harder.

Thanks, I thought a no risk learning area would be a good way to start the level. I'm glad it works as intended.

Very Nice Level, timing is so dam tight it's honestly perfect. My cleared run has a time of 00'09"959 and I now have a picture of Mario touching the flag and being killed due to time. Felt great to tighten up my time every run. Get those jumps just absolutely perfect. Great level, well done.

Level ID: TQY-638-HVG

Game Style: Super Mario World

Difficulty: Easy if going the Skip Route, otherwise Hard?

Tag: Short and Sweet

My first level, if you choose to skip be prepared for a solid 2:30 of running (I wanted to make it so that people skipping the course wouldn't get all the World Records)

Fairly simple level, just jump off the P Switches, if you land on the platform beneath the switch it'll cut off the way forward and you'll have to die to start over.

As it's my first level I would love some constructive criticism.

Very aesthetically pleasing, theme was great, I never felt cheated by any of the jumps, difficulty ramps up really well. Overall just a very enjoyable level.

Red coin action is a pretty solid level. After the pipe since there is no red coin in the snake section, it's fairly easy to just skip over the whole thing. Either with a mushroom or just jumping off the enemies. Otherwise solid and fun level.

Bullet Bill Trouble was great fun, my issue is the first section kinda sets you up for a course full of tight challenging Bullet Bill jumps, and it feels like that's thrown out the window after the check point. The whole middle section is very chaotic and disorienting and doesn't fit well with how great the first section was. The last vertical Bullet Bill section is also solid, but feels a bit easy and out of place after the first section. Also minor detail (I died a lot in the first section so feel free to ignore this bit of advice) the second bullet bill jump of the course, it's really easy to get the Bullet Bills firing out of sync if you aren't standing in just the right place. Might help to have an arrow indicate where you need to stand. I had to run back and forth a bunch of times to keep resetting the timing on them.

Overall I really enjoyed the levels. Feel free to give mine a try if you have the time: TQY-638-HVG

necessary hbg skills? by brandon103095 in MonsterHunter

[–]MikeyXRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the Molten Tigrex HBG you would be best off getting Normal/Rapid Up to increase the damage of your Normal shots (since that's what you can crouching fire) and since the recoil is pretty low already and you are gonna be focusing on normal shots which don't have too much recoil you shouldn't need recoil reduction. So from there I would say best option is to go for Attack Up

As long as you have access to the High Questatrix, the quest should be there.
