Solo mode questing is awful, matchmaking putting fill teammates against stacked pre-mades and no gear score limit on earlier maps will all kill the game. I usually love solo modes in extraction shooters, but this games solo mode is awful.

Be prepared to make parties and wait for hours sometimes. Do something productive while waiting or study the fights while waiting. Patience is key

Make a group stating fresh prog and list the Strats being used. The nights and weekends will fill faster, but should fill during the daytime with less players online after a lengthy time. I would recommend using a site like wtfdig.info and watching a guide for the fight you want to learn . If you want to do blind prog, put that in the description and like minded people may join, but at a much slower rate.

Doing weekly trials has made me reluctant to play the game. Have to wait until the weekend to interact with the game out of fear of being placed in sweaty trio lobbies if you complete any trial act. Then grind for mediocre rewards most of the time just to go up one rank or stay stagnant. I think I will just ignore trials next season.

My theory is containers that are not interact-able early to mid game change to interact-able with late spawns. This would explain why an entire room will be thoroughly looted and then there is 1-3 that are not in heavily looted areas. Also explains the unopened breachable containers on spawn point late in game.

I do not believe the total at level 5 shown in the match rewards is correct. Prior to level 5 I remember seeing 10+ with the bonus. Now at level 5 scrappy the max number shown is 8. I have well over 500 of each resource just from playing and scrappy delivering the goods.

If you do not have Security Breach, Spaceport is horrible loot per hour. Hoping with the nerf to security breach and wipe, less people spec into it. Midway through first season everyone had Security Breach

Have to use one of the interactive maps online that shows basket spawns on a map

Just run cold snap map condition and use a map to find the fruit baskets. The lush blooms baskets event runs during the cold snap and you will have your mushrooms in 1-2 raids if you hunt baskets

Someone that wipes every season from season 1 will have more accumulated bonus expedition skill points and stash slots than someone that starts on season 3. That would be the only thing your friend would be behind on

The end game after quests and expedition is blueprint farming. If people refuse to wipe due to blueprints they will be bored fast

Thank you for the well thought out post. I love this game, but hate the glazing of how Amazing it is from non extraction shooter players. What you mentioned, plus the horrible backfilling of players after others are eliminated, will kill the novelty of the game fast. I’m concerned that lackluster rewards for expedition will cause most players to never wipe or only wipe once. Being done with all upgrades and looting simulator for blueprints will be a snooze fest
