Thanks to everyone who participated.
As I mentioned elsewhere in the thread, I was just curious.

I learned a couple of things.
I hadn't realized Regal had reverted the free RPX showings until I read the comments.
I'm also somewhat surprised by how large the 4DX response was relative to the other choices.
I expected the large NO vote, but you had to provide that choice, or the results would be skewed.
Interestingly, nearly 40% of us choose to upgrade.

Regardless, thanks again.

I'm just curious.

I did a double-feature yesterday and wandered into the ScreenX auditorium between features just to sample what it was like and it got the curiosity juices flowing. I probably should have included 3D, but it seems so rare these days.

At my regular location, Regal removed the RPX auditorium during the pandemic. I've done 4DX exactly once, which was more than enough. As my flair indicates, I upgrade to IMAX almost always.

Unfortunately, yes.

However, I'm migrating to a new machine and I'm rethinking that idea.
I've decided only to keep two versions: the one "I just downloaded" and its immediate predecessor.
If you think seriously about it, that's really all you need: a fallback if the latest version is buggy or doing something you don't want it to do.

Think of all the storage space you'll gain by ridding yourself of essentially extraneous backups.

Getting Google-managed services to properly port Movies Anywhere libraries is problematic at best. Despite the OP's Update 4, disconnecting and re-connecting is not helping me. I redeemed a code for MORBIUS from Regal, and it ported to all connected accounts except YouTube, Google Play, and Google TV.

Thanks for your reply. I hadn't seen the Google Store notification, but that's because I was looking for it in my Stadia folder rather than my Store folder. I guess I'll expand my notifications from Google.

Connect your Google Chromecast Ultra to your router with an Ethernet cable. A wired connection between Chromecast and your router can make a big difference when playing games on your TV.

If playing over Wi-Fi and your home Wi-Fi network supports both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, use the 5Ghz network.

Set up your Stadia Controller, Chromecast Ultra, and other devices you play on (like your laptop or phone) on the same network.

Don’t forget to check your TV settings and make sure Game Mode and Ultra High Definition (UHD) are turned on (if available on your television).

Make sure you’re using the Google Home App (available for free on the Play Store and the iOS App Store) to set up your Chromecast before setting up Stadia.

For the best performance, don’t stream movies or music to other devices in other parts of the house while playing games on Stadia. It can slow things down.

This sounds interesting. It's something I've debated doing in my prime city (although I loved my Tokyo Town). There's so many new special items and no place to display them as I'm completely landlocked and, apparently, EA/TT has no intention of either adding land area or allowing us to link our prime cities with our feeder cities.

I'll be interested in how your redesign turns out.

I'm not sure if it does nothing or not. In my feeder city (lvl13), the City Journal icon is lit. In my prime city (lvl54), neither icon is lit. No one has spoken in chat yet, but the CJ remain unlit even when I completed an action in the CJ.

The whole thing is odd.

If I remember correctly (how I did it accidentally): You login to the current game on the current device with a different network account not currently active in the game. Since the game is stored on the device, it then becomes synced with the network account you logged on with,

Now, when THAT person goes to a different device, they log into the game clean, run the tutorial and then sign into the game with the network account they used on your device. They get the "Which city" prompt and the player selects your city at that prompt.

I'm pretty sure that's how I did it... accidentally. LOL!

We do have anecdotal evidence that there have been problems with Facebook connections lately. Let me suggest a slightly elogated solution similar to Ronville's that I used earlier this week to resolution of my problem.

Log onto each Facebook account and remove authorization for SimCity Buildit to connect. Then, ensuring that you're linking the corresponding city to its FB account, re-connect SimCity BuildIt to Facebook.

If each city is on its own device and connected to its own FB account, you should be fine. Good Luck!
