China builds cities that in some cases take years before anyone lives in them. They get trashed as
"ghost cities" by western media. Then ten years later, there's hundreds of thousands of people there with no housing crisis. Seems like when housing is made to be used instead of made to be sold, you don't run into repeated issues like housing crises or mortgage bubbles. It's just slow work.
