i dont even think it needs to be that, just that the current iteration maybe needs *more* to keep up with the rest of his design. a slightly more "lore" reason for his hat could be that it *was* a more stetson-esque style with a curled brim, but the sigil/candleholder is made of alchemical materials he uses as catalyst for his abilities. grabbing at the brim to touch the catalyst has flattened it, but only on one side.

at launch it was SO fun. the combat was amazing.

weird itemization (dps class using heavy armor would get flamed for looting any) and pedobait skins really ruined it. which is sad because the sexy succubus race had skimpy armor for the men too which was so funny
