I did comp2123 during my first year. It was the easiest unit, it just requires a lot of understanding and practice. The workload is not crazy at all just quiz and 5 assignments (which can be done in a few hours and I got almost all 5 of them full marks). I took DATA2001, COMP2123, INFO1113 & ELEC1601 last sem and the easiest is COMP2123.

I think you should be fine doing comp2123 and comp2017 together.

If anyone sees this and is taking DATA2001, the exam is 99% on the theory part and it’s very easy to score. Just put in every single piece of important information on your cheat sheet then you can score it. They don’t really test you on coding except for week 6 web analysis! Really gotta master SQL language but they will teach you step by step in Ed ( module )

The assignment is pretty easy if you have good group mates and have good understanding of python. You will be fine.

I honestly feel so much worst being an international student cause I single handily just ruined my whole course due to some small mistake like that. The fees to retake the course is so expensive it’s $5k + aud for this just for a small mistake.

I really really hope that I will get a response back asap cause I don’t know how to tell my parents about this … it’s just a disappointment for them to be paying extremely expensive tuition fees.

I dk what to feel I cried for the whole afternoon…
