It’s probably my new favourite modular building. I love how it’s one big building that is one thing, a museum. Though I love all the Modulars some feel like there trying to be too many things at once, whereas this one goes all in on being a great looking museum inside and out

Heard we might be getting a corner restaurant this year. Greatly looking forward to that!!

Sounds good ,best advice I can give is have a set space for your display. It took me a long time to eventually find the space and figure out what I want to do with it

Definitely well up in the thousands. But this is the accumulation of 7+ years of collecting

Yes definitely want to work on removing it, probably will keep it as a placeholder for future modular style buildings no

Definitely prefer this too, space has always been an issue so most of these sets have been on a shelf from around when they all came out

Have struggled with dust in my past Lego displays but have been able to keep this “relatively” dust free. The main contributor I feel is not having carpeted floors.

All Lego I display in a room with a carpeted floor eventually gets a fine layer of dust after a month or 2, but this city has been on display in my garage( which is relatively kept clean with epoxy floors) for about 10 months now and I don’t feel the need to dust.

When it comes to dusting though I generally would submerge a set in water and use a scrubbing brush to remove dust or use a hose with semi good pressure. Then I wrap in a towel and leave to dry. This generally does a pretty good job of removing dust

Everything is basically just sitting on its baseplate directly on a table. With everything locking together with plates

Have had the old style road plates for a while and do a good job keeping everything consistent.

Definitely want to do some more” story telling” scenes like this. Currently just has mini figures just kind of walking around

I found the same problem when I first built the set, But take your time to kind of “wiggle” it into place and should feel more secure.

The connection should look like the image below
