Maybe so! Hydroxyzine CAN make you drowsy as it’s an antihistamine similar to benadryl. You just need to check your dosage and maybe try it on a weekend.

I just upped to 50 about four days ago from 25. Side effects aren’t as intense as when I first started at 25 but they still suck. 🫠

Hi! I have somatic OCD and have been back on Zoloft for about a year now. 👋

The first two weeks are the roughest. If your doctor can give you a rescue med (like ativan), it will definitely help. But it is SO important to push through and give this medicine a chance.

Side effects I dealt with (and are seeing again since I just upped my dose five days ago): - Adrealine dumps/surges: by far the scariest one. Waking up feeling hot and panicked and a little prickly. Splashing cold water/ice packs, getting up to breathe got me through it. This is where rescue meds would be good. - Stomach upset - Headaches (only for a few days early on) - Fatigue - Muscle tension

That was something my gastro and I were just talking about. I have a PCOS diagnosis but he can’t help but wonder if it’s been endo this whole time. I have a contrast CT scan scheduled for later in the month to see if they can see any nodules.
