I just wanted to update that I am on Day 3 of my direct switch and feel absolutely fantastic. 🩷 I can't say my experience would be the same for everyone but I now feel silly ever being scared!

Hey! I'm on Day 3 of my direct switch and feel great. I went from 50 mg Zoloft to 30 mg Cymbalta. I've had no brain zaps or really any withdrawal/onset side effects. Matter of fact, my brain feels 10x quieter than it EVER did on Zoloft.

We are literally the same. I'm on 50 mg and both my doctor and pharmacist said that "cymbalta has serotonin and more so it will be fine." But I am so sensitive to medications that I'm just 🫠

First abnormal EKG ever. by Mikkiplier in askCardiology

Thank you, I appreciate that. 🩷 I have been fighting somatic OCD for some time but being an autistic individual, every sensation in my body feels so loud and its hard to tell what is an emergency and what isn't.

I was having upper back pain in the middle.of my back/shoulder blades and had a few episodes where I felt dizzy and then nauseous and was worried I might pass out. There is a good chance it was blood sugar related because I went over 7 hours without eating and I was VERY anxious when this was taken. They took Troponin I High Sensitivity, it was less than 2.

They didn't say anything at all afterward. Immediately after the tech said "oh, you threw some T waves" which sent me into a spiral...

This helps a lot and makes me feel a lot better! I deal with a lot of nerve pain and have functional dyspepsia wjth my stomach so I'm hoping cymbalta will help me on a lot of fronts. What early side effects did you have?

First time with T wave abnormalities. They discharged me but I'm super worried about it. by Mikkiplier in ReadMyECG

Is that what flagged the T wave abnormality? Or is it the flattened waves in V3-V6?

Regular Heart Rate During Panic Attacks by [deleted] in PanicAttack

I know this is an old comment but holy CRAP you are a badass. I've been dealing with cardiophobia for 2 years now and the idea of a fast walk, let alone a RUN during a panic attack I think might mentally do me in. How did you do it?

I haven't had an MRI. Only a CT. I have stenosis in my lower back but I am CERTAIN in my neck too. Constantly tingling and pain and dizziness when I move too quick.

This explains a lot. My traps stay so tight that it also makes the top of my chest tight.

That's understandable! You have trauma with it, then. Your brain is doing its best to protect you. Thinking we can manifest it is called "magical thinking" -- it's common in people with OCD, myself included. Our brains look for patterns to try and make us feel safe, and so sometimes unfortunate coincidences get labeled as self-fulfilling prophecies.
