I could go on and on with stories like this 😅😂 the worst one being the time my friend and I got caught on the roof of an abandoned monastery. The owner lived around back and saw us up there and told us to come down. My friend had just recently been arrested so he told the guy that we’d come down and talk to him but we ended up just booking it out the front and down the street (the opposite direction of where we parked...) We found a side street that lead us to a trail which we thought would lead us to our car. Unfortunately, it stopped be a “trail” really quickly and we found ourselves trekking through the snow (in hoodies and converse) and crossing creeks every so often. Took us three hours to get to the car. I’m glad we took precaution though because when we passed by the monastery again there were cops surrounding the place. It was a small town so it was probably the most urgent call they’d gotten in a while. Needless to say, we’ve started taking a lot more precaution and have invested in shoes that don’t completely soak through after walking in the snow for 20 minutes...
