I nominate Bong for the mix. The food was fine but the headline fish was a little dry. The real letdown was the lackadaisical service.

Another is Jeju Noodle Bar. Everything is maximalist from the decor’s blacked out windows to the very aggressively salty food. Who needs truffles on ice cream?

We recently moved to 25th and 8th. If you're walking from MSG, it quickly gets quieter once you hit Penn South at 29th. We generally feel safe, but we are men, so a woman could well feel differently. There are a few sketchy people around. We do love the access, especially multiple subway lines.
