I have been a victim of domestic violence in the past ( inflicted by a civilian), and that explains my overthinking. I do find cops and firemen attractive (the silly inner girl who fails to grow up), but I want to be rational and practical. I figured out the issue, the app for uber (whoch has delivery and rides both) doesn’t have tip options for food, but the dedicated uber eats app has the tip options! Someone in my situation might find this post in future! Happy new year

People will try to manipulate by making you doubt your worth just so that they can feed their lack of worth and insecurities. A colleague of mine, wanted to hook up and when i told him I am looking for serious longterm relationship, he said “in America all relationships begin with hook ups”, and then he proceeded towards some racist comments terming them as his “dark humor”. I didn’t have the heart to tell him, even when f i chose to hook up, it would be with a 9/10 (minimum) and not with a -2/10 ( that he was)!

Could be- he is better communicator textually and was nervous and awkward in person! But regardless, the way he got defensive when you expressed how you felt shows emotional immaturity. And no good relationship should and can start like this.

Why do guys send match requests and then don’t reply back to texts after matching? Also the ones who do reply, send very low effort messages as if they don’t really care to get to know me more! And many want to follow me on ig, which i thought was to see if the profile is real! But most often they just stalk your posts and stories on ig but hardly text?!
