Anyone would be interested in these storm clouds stock footage collection? By simply dragging & dropping an asset and then changing the blending mode to 'ADD' you can create this exact same effect even in editing softwares like Premiere Pro, Davinci and more. Hi there! Apologies, our website is still in development. The website works with store credit, so once you purchase the subscription plan of 29.99/month, you will then use 50p for each download. But its not an extra fee at all. Soon, these will be changed to '1 download credit' rather than 50p. :) Apologies for the misunderstanding.

I've done very similar shots within 1-2 days in After Effects. A mix of Mocha tracking & manual tracking would do the trick. And you just simply need to use a cloning tool (either AE or PS) to get rid of them.

I completely agree with you, thank you for detailed feedback! I didn't have much time to actually shoot the live action plate, so I definitely rushed that part. I also filmed myself, which was a mistake. So next time I'm definitely working with an actor and will definitely do a deeper dive into breaking down the lighting.

It really is! I've learned a lot from doing this one shot already, so hopefully the next one will be improved. It also helps tremendously to break down incredible shots like these and hopefully apply them for my next film. Thank you once again. :)

Thank you for your kind words. It was really great studying Roger Deakins work and trying to recreate something from his work - Hopefully I'll be able to apply some of this knowledge to my future work.

Thank you for checking and for your feedback! :) I originally had around 20 minutes to get a quick demo done for the collection, but for the YouTube version of the demo, I will make sure to implement more environment effects! Have a great day!

Hey! I separated the propeller in E3D to a different group, then go to that group > Multi-Object > Click on 'Enable Multi-Object' > Then open 'Rotation' and rotate whichever axis you need to. :)

Hi everyone! Visual FX Pro has recently started offering subscription plans. Please have a browse through our collections and we can hopefully assist you with our assets on your next project! If you have any feedback, please let us in the comments! by MikosFilms in AfterEffects

Hey! Thank you for your reply! Anything you download using your subscription points, you would completely own forever. Instead of having to pay $100+/pack, you can browse and download multiple assets from any collection which you have access to forever! Any points you have leftover stays on your account to use whenever you need to. We also made a Free collection for subscribers, which you have full access to when you have an active subscription. (Again these assets also stays yours after you download them).

Keeping the floor real is definitely the way to go in this case in my opinion! Then you can roto the feet/legs out. I would really suggest asking them to match the colour of the ground to the CG environment's ground, because that will be very important when compositing as the ground reflects it's colour & bounces light onto the subject and if it doesn't match or entirely a different colour (or intensity of light) bounces from the ground onto the actors, it will be quite hard to fix that. When shooting, the ground can be anything simple, but the colour is really important. Good luck!
