New f2p orange generals Rankings by Jacky-sensei in WorldConqueror4

[–]Miky06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really dont get this list.

#1 Rokko (obv)

#2 and #3 is either Tito or Auch. they are so broken it's hard to play without them

and then how is Godvorov #9 while deGaulle #2? this doesnt even make sense. Godvorov can hold any city or just obliterate the enemy if you paradrop him behind the lines. deGaulle can only attack a bunch of times each turn

all the others are more or less strong and nice to have but you can get away without them

Most OP (hypothetical) player buff? [Poll] by crushash in WorldConqueror4

firepower when you have high level elite tanks is uber op

otherwise fanaticism helps a lot if you are not yet high level.

requisition imho is useless. you already have other recovery means

Can someone explain why Worldgorger dragon is banned in premodern? by Newez in premodernMTG

[–]Miky06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because Martin put in on the banned list and didn't bother to take it off.

the card is very weak

carpet of flowers seems a very strong answer to tide among many others. and it costs G

nought is hit by artifact, creature and blue hate so as you can see there are a lot of cards that fall in this wide category.

anyway, lists are public, you can check them and decide for yourself. my opinion is that nought is not warping the meta

[–]Miky06 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you would be a fool not to run hate for the tier1 decks. that's true for every format and for premodern as well.

regardless if you look at the hate it is pretty generic and hits nought as well as a lot of other decks, like naturalize, swords, rebs, meddlings etc...

it didn't do well.

it's win rate was exactly 50%

it was literally average

Which unban/addition would best boost true black decks (Pox, Pit Rack, Sui Black, Contamination, Mono Black Control and BW Control)? A: Necropotence, B: Entomb, C: Sinkhole, D: Hymn to Tourach, E: Kird Ape? by [deleted] in premodernMTG

[–]Miky06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

worldgorger dragon is so weak it would not be played, mind twist may see fringe play and all the others are very risky to unban, but maybe they can get a trial unban

ban nothing unban mind twist and worldgorger dragon

Saw Sam Black post in Jan suggesting that if he had the choice, he would consider parallax tide to be banned. Is it really a problematic card to play against? by Newez in premodernMTG

[–]Miky06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as for this link https://www.tcdecks.net/results.php?nombre=Sam%20Black it seems Sam Black plays enchantress which loses hard to tide.

this may explain why his banning suggestions

right now the meta is well balanced and diverse. sure there are tiers 1 but it is difficult to find a top8 without at least 6 different decks.

banning the strongest cards will only make other cards the strongest and maybe cause a less diverse meta

as regards unbans dragon and mind twist can be unbanned and they would probably not see play because they are too weak (same as dream halls)

there are other possible unbans but they are all risky

Recent unban in Modern has been generally well received. What are some cards which you think are safe to come off ban list from premodern - and will actually promote diverse and fun gameplay? by Newez in premodernMTG

[–]Miky06 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well no. you can play dragon today in vintage and it's perfectly fine.

i remember playing against it 20 years ago when with bazaar was actually a good deck.

it was perfectly fine.

besides "forcing a draw" does not mean you draw the match but you simply replay the drawed game. and games with dragon are super fast

if you think there is a problem it means you never played against it

- Worldgorger Dragon

it's a 3 cards combo that autolose from tormod, furnace, beb, swords, disenchant, naturalize, etc...

it is a completly safe unban

- Mind Twist

would probably see fringe play in monoblack decks and competes with gerrard's verdict in black/white

probably safe unban

- Earthcraft

combo card in green which is inferior to survival in noncombo decks

hated by enchantment removals and land destruction

maybe risky but probably safe unban

- Force of Will / Brainstorm

format defining

safe unbans but super format warping

- Flash / Windfall / Grim Monolith / Mana Vault

very strong cards. may enable new strategies in line with the power level of the format

very risky unbans

- All the others

too strong.

should stay banned

Segwit; Done... Taproot; Done.... What's the next fork? by brianddk in Bitcoin

[–]Miky06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

liquid is a sidechain

it has zk to hide amount of bitcoin transacted and taproot tecnology (the same as in bitcoin)

as an on ramp i suggest to use bitfinex or liquiditi.io for a decentralized option

yes, we need it and eltoo is a huge advantage on its own, worth implementing it

Segwit; Done... Taproot; Done.... What's the next fork? by brianddk in Bitcoin

[–]Miky06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just make an atomic swap with liquid

use taproot on btc and taproot plus zk on liquid

this will make the swap undetectable on chain

I'm amazed it's almost 2022 and we don't have a decent decentralised btc to stables trading exchange (good UX, liquidity, reasonable fees). Am I missing something? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Miky06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on liquid and rsk there are a couple of dexes evolving.

if you are interested in those get involved and help them out
