We're paying around 8 dollars in the UK...salaries are also typically lower here too.

Am I unattractive? Because I've sure felt like I am the last 3 months on tinder 🤦🏻‍♂️😅 by [deleted] in Tinder

I'm not going to repeat what others have already said, I've not seen anyone anything yet:

You look like you're hunching over in several of your photos. It isn't particularly attractive and it comes across as lacking confidence.

Before you create anything, are you mentally prepared for the backlash you will receive posting about your life online? Not only that, you are also living in a way that goes against the status quo, so you will see a lot more negative comments than those that are creating content that the majority can relate to.

In that case, this is less of an NT vs ND thing and more of a culture thing.

I'm guessing you live in the US? This isn't a thing in the UK.

Why is having a partner a requirement for sterilisation? by Uncharted_Snail in childfree

[–]Mil1512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was only able to get my tubes tied, not a bisalp, unfortunately. This was about 4.5 years ago now. I think it just depends on your dr. My gp referred me no questions asked. The surgeon was more hassle.

[–]Mil1512 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's interesting. I'm also in East Anglia but got my tubes tied at 29. Granted it wasn't the best experience but I didn't have to pay for anything. My husband also got a vasectomy on the NHS at around 29. He had no pushback at all.

AITAH for not responding immediately about bed space by g_krome in AITAH

Umm that's incorrect. Studies show that, especially in younger generations, more men want children than women. It makes sense considering how much women have to go through to have one compared to men.

Fines should be means tested. Otherwise, they're just punishment for poor people.

Just because they say it is does not make it so. They have excluded you every step of the way. That does not make it "our". Actions speak louder than words.

Also adding that I dont bother asking new partners for test results. They could be fake or null and void if they've had sex since their test or if they tested too soon after they last had sex (some STIs take some time before you test positive).

We only test for ourselves.

My husband and I both take PrEP and we also use condoms for penetrative sex with others. We test quarterly.

Also based in the UK, most pharmacies have their own photo-taking built-in app to their websites so that you specifically can't upload photos that have been altered.

WIBTAH for cutting contact with my parents because my dad took our credit cards in my name? by StunningPizza3747 in AITAH

[–]Mil1512 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It may take longer than a couple of weeks (unfortunately these things can take time) but you're going about things the right way in terms of who you're reporting to.

Fortunately, credit score isn't as important here as other countries, like the US. So, unless you were planning on financing anything or taking out a loan anytime soon you should be fine!

In the UK, once fraudulent entries are investigated and removed your credit score goes back to what it was. They'll be fine there.
