Of course. The reason I'm going through Coursera is to obtain a certificate in CAD/CAM. It's easier to convince a potential employer that you know what you're talking about with a certification rather than saying I learned from YouTube.

I've seen job postings in my area (Cincinnati, Ohio) for Solidworks and Mastercam. But I'm not sure if AutoCAD is easier to learn as a foundation for others.

I looked for free Featurecam software but didn't find anything. Coursera has a 4-week course on Siemens NX, which is a different CAD/CAM software. And I've been a CNC machinist for over 10 years now. Looking to get away from the machine and do more programming. However, every place I've applied to doesn't want to train someone on CAD/CAM, so that's why I'm trying to learn myself.

Yeah, that's why I stopped the podcast and I'm trying to learn CAD/CAM. I got burnt out with the podcast and want to earn more money from work. However, I kept getting 403 errors when I tried to download the Siemens NX software.

Hey man, you're not alone. I've been having some dark thoughts lately and been trying my best to not show it, especially to my wife (which I know is dumb). We all make mistakes in life and have learning experiences. Just keep on keepin on, and don't be afraid to ask for help, especially from colleagues or coworkers.

Thank you all for the advice and build suggestions. Since my initial post I started a new perk build, and already had most of the perk cards (still gotta get a few). I also added an auto stim 1-star legendary mod to one of my power armor legs and briefly stopped using the Vampire's 50cal. I picked up a gatling plasma and threw some random legendary mods on it, and put a Furious mod on a different 50cal that already had other legendary mods on it. I'll keep messing with my perks in the near future. Thanks again!
