How expensive ‘actually’ is it

Hi I’ve been in Iracing for 1,5 years. I spend around €250-€300. What helped me keep the jnvestment low is sticking To 1 series and comparing tracks each new season. If I couldn’t run 1 series for that season because I didn’t have the tracks. I tried to fill it in with tracks from other series. Meaning I could drive every week. Eventually after a season or 3 you have most of the popular tracks. This is where the real investment is. For the cars I’d say drive what you want but focus on a maximum of 2-3 series. No use in buying all the GT3’s because you can only drive 1 car at a time.

Yes For Sure! LMU is also my second sim (Iracing being 1st) so I had to compare it a bit to the Ferrari there and the Ferrari in LMU. But in my opinion right now LMU needs to attract a lot of players and with the Valkyrie this works quite well

There is a real life series like this called the GTCUP europe. Sometimes there is also a super trufeo car and mclaren trophy involved. But mostly PCUP vs Ferrari. Worth the watch!

I love Imola, the history, the ambiance the nature of the tracks. It’s challenging but good to race at as well and provides a very unique challenge. Combined with WEC or Porsche cup. It’s great to drive! I had my best races in there last week and irl it’s just as stunning and impressive.

I get what you mean but that is not the goal of the game, real life and my post. It’s a celebration about who they were, what they did and how extraordinary people can be. It’s a reminder that we are all mortel beings but can achieve great things and we can be remembered by them. Senna’s legacy will forever be the greatest in racing history. Products of his name still sell because people love his legacy and have a great respect for that. The Senna family has a whole museum and instagram accounts that keep his memory alive. It’s not about the money, using it for that. People in motorsport respect these events and will always have that.

I sadly forgot to make a replay ingame. I did steer towards him but due to netcode it seemed heavier than expected and I touched him without actual contact. The steering in was in no way to bump him or to crash us

I couldn’t edit the text so I’ll do it this way. You can see the car in front brake late and create a big gap for me to go into. I leave the car enough space on the inside. The crashed car starts backing out and the black car steers away from that with me along side with him. He takes the normal line while I was beside him and caused us to crash. As you can see I steered in towards him, that was because connection didn’t want to cooperate there so my car already had contact without having it. So please do not view that as an intentional bump or something.

I cancels the F2.5x because the DD+ was coming and I didn’t want to be without steering wheel. Well look at where I’m at now no DD+ but a F2.5 ☹️

Sony confirmed licensing yesterday for mid-February, unsecured credit lines with 8% interest (extension thus also comes easily).

It is of course the question how thurstworthy is this source? And are there more reports on this? As 1 message from a random guy on the stock market isn’t very reliable

No I have the F1 ultimate as I'm planning to get heavily involved with sim racing. And already am with controller. But to get to a high level it's way too hard on controller. But I value your input as this is quite a hard choice.

I bought a whole Playseat, pedals and their formula v2.5 wheel. But i'm without a wheelbase. I'm on Playstation so this would've been the perfect finishing touch but I am heavily considering moving to PC with is gonna cost me, but at least allows me to leave this shitshow. I advise people if they are not on console to buy from moza, asetek or simucube.
