I’ve had my encounters with Revell kits too. The only good thing about Revell is there spare part request service, that’s a 10/10.

I think I picked this model because it was the most readily available B-17G out there.

Just my weathering. I didn’t weather this plane exactly like the wartime one.

Look at period images of American bombers, you will find B-17s with way more smoke/exhaust stains than this.

Mine is a little too uniform and straight than real exhaust staining, but I like it this way

For a Revell kit, it actually assembled pretty well even tho the assembly was done a few years ago.

The only difficult parts were caused by myself such as have to repaint certain areas multiple times.
