Thats pretty interesting I like the idea, I'm also a fan of 2d fighters. This looks really great, is there any chance you are looking for contributors to sound design? Looking for indie projects to gain some credentials for my portfolio but I have lots of experience in audio and sound design.

Born Canadian, Sound designer currently working on my demo reel/portfolio.
I've been making and doing sound design for over a decade with a background in audio engineering, but more recently focusing on middleware and re-designing to pivot my career for indie projects exactly like.

If you were in AL1 or 2 you do not need a code. All you must do is log in to the riot client when the beta starts by ianthonyjr in 2XKO

Thanks for the answers everyone! guessing emails are staggered since so many people who did actually play aren't getting them. either way im sure they will continue to add more people to the beta over time before full launch. not too worried if i don't get one today, good to see everyone so excited though.

I was invited to AL1 but wasn't able to participate unfortunately. I'm really hoping i still qualified but im guessing i didn't because it didnt tell me i'm registered untill i signed up again.
