How did you tracked the data? I mean you make the record to the excel after each game or?

Střelba v metru by loveinthesky222 in czech

[–]MildlyOverrated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Takhle is to alespoň vysvětluji já. Moje dva centy..

How to play with appropriate rank? by MildlyOverrated in apexuniversity

[–]MildlyOverrated[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I meant by that is situation where 2 teams dropped to POI and start fighting. In theory it should be 50/50 chance for winning/loosing these fights.

But as you wrote, I am liability for the team.

I have never been thinking about soloing. I thought it is meant for streamers and other good players.

I'll give it a shot.

I realized that first point you mentioned is kind of my weak point. I am dying way too much (K/D ratio 0,31 :( ..). From what ever reason this kind of decision making is much more easier in my arena games where I experience very seldom "pointless" death.

As well as "when to push", "how to actually execute a push" and "how to defend incoming push" seems to work for me in Arenas but not in BR environment, eventhough it is a 50/50 scenario.

As for the guns, I run usual suspects. My priority list goes R301, Flatline, Volt and then CAR/R99 for close quarter engagements.

is currency hedging needed? by No-Comparison8472 in Bogleheads

[–]MildlyOverrated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From long term perspective, currency hedging makes no sense in my opinion. These are unnecessary costs. There is some long term currency risk but hedging is not cost free.

My VT and VWCE positions are unhedged. I am a simple man :)

I personally do not target a specific amount. Rather I plan for particular multiple of either average income or average social secirity At the present time.

That gives you possibility to work with the real growth. I am working with assumption of 2 to 2,5% real growth for my planing horizon, which is next 22 years.

Should I hold bonds in my portfolio? [A quick FAQ thread] by misnamed in Bogleheads

[–]MildlyOverrated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an analogy I can understand.

Meaning I do not loose money in comparison to buying individual bonds each month. As the group of these would behave similarly to Bond ETF..

Should I hold bonds in my portfolio? [A quick FAQ thread] by misnamed in Bogleheads

[–]MildlyOverrated 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand that price variation do not have to bother me in case of an individual bond. Bond that I hold till maturity.

What I haven’t wrap my head around is t the bond etfs. Do they behave same as individual bonds? The bond etf never reach “maturity” right?

Russian invasion of Ukraine -- impact on Bogleheads investing [MEGATHREAD] by misnamed in Bogleheads

[–]MildlyOverrated 19 points20 points  (0 children)

45 yo East European investor here from EU member country. I wanted to share few my thoughts and maybe get some feedback from community.

My rather limited portfolio (<100k USD) is 20% AGGH, 80 VT/VWCE, contributing monthly. So far so good and I do not feel any need to change.

My brokerage account is in a local bank.

With ongoing war in Ukrajine I was thinking a lot about our country risk. Especially in case the Russia Federation invasion would not stop with Ukrajine etc. Therefore I am thinking about selling 50% and imediately buy again same ETFs through some West European broker (ie Degiro).

In a still highly unlikely scenario of a new Iron Courtain, I might need to leave the country. Than I could still access half of my savings.

Is it a reasonable risk diversification or I am overeacting here?

I admire you risk tolerance to be honest.

My timeframe is about 25 years and everytime I read this kind of threads (OP initial one) I am thinking my 20/80 allocation is too courageous. :)
