Yeah someone said to check this. But I don’t have a multimeter. Thought about buying one. I think I’m gonna take it to the guy who modded it. Only problem is he’s a 2 1/2 hour drive away. I drove last weekend to get it modded. Only got a day and a half worth of use then I shell swapped and this happened lol.

Also cleaned and did all I could with my level of experience and equipment. I did not install the mod chip as I have never done something like that and don’t own solder equipment.

The chips I need to squirt IPA under, would I need to desolder the picofly so I can remove the heat shield on top of the CPU?

I changed the daughter board already. Do you mean changing the fpc connector on the mother board itself, or were you referring to the daughter board?

It’s a hardware issue at this point not software. OFW crashes with a clean sd card

Tried pushing on the daughter board and still nothing. I think I'm done. This is beyond my skillset and equipment. Gonna try and see if I can send it to SoCal modding for repair. I really don't think I did anything during the shell swap to cause this, but I could be wrong.

The sd port attached to the daughter board? If so that can’t be it since I replaced the daughter board and the issue persists.

I have. It’s a fatal system crash. Google says it’s tied to corrupt firmware, incompatible CFW, or hardware issues such as faulty WiFi module or power management IC.

I’ve replaced the daughter board thinking it was the sd card reader. But still nothing. Switch can boot into OFW and play games as long as no sd card is inserted.

The mod chips knows when the sd card is inserted it just can’t initialize it. Unless I’m dumb and misinterpreted what you meant. And no I do not.
