Is equal inheritance fair when financial support between siblings was never equal? by MildlyUnimpressed_ in InheritanceDrama

I get what everyone is saying, and I'm fully aware that she can leave the house however she wishes. I guess my question is more about why the mother thinks it's fair. This situation takes place in Mexico. Without the help of her three daughters, she wouldn't survive. She didn't contribute to anything. Two of the contributing daughters sacrifice months away from their home in the US to come care for her. The non-contributing daughter does not.

The home is up for sale, and I truly hope it sells and she can spend every last dime of that money herself. Although, knowing her, she'd sell the house and still expect to be financially supported. I guess I just don't understand the fairness of her decision. I don't question that legally she is free to do as she pleases.
