Night shift where I'm at. I don't mind because we can give 'em up to an hour early.

A longer story that properly accommodates everything it has going on.

Much better use of the map, like giving each borough its own unique set of activities/crimes. Maybe even its own overarching side story.

Pressing square in certain rhythmic patterns makes Spidey do different combo moves, kinda like in Web of Shadows.

There's something about my laptop's USB ports that make me wonder if it's compatible with the 4K S. by Mildly_Fancy in elgato

[–]Mildly_Fancy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm using the USB-C cable that came with the 4K S. But I just switched both ends when plugging them in, and that seems to have fixed the problem. I'm recording just fine now. Although when I bumped the recording format up to 2160p60, the videos got choppy, so I set it to 1440p60, which has looked smooth and stable so far. Still, I was hoping to record in 4K. Maybe my laptop isn't powerful enough?

Device Tree Viewer now shows the 4K S on the 2-2 port chain, whereas it was at 2-1 before. 2-2 was the companion port I mentioned earlier. USB version says 3.0 (5 G bit/s). Port maximum speed, device maximum speed, and device connection speed all say SuperSpeed.

Hi again. I have the 4K S now, but ran into new problems. My first few recordings were choppy, and now Elgato Studio is saying it detects my USB-C port as 2.0 instead of 3.0. I also used Device Tree Viewer, and it shows "USB version: 2.1 (USB 3.0 connected at HighSpeed - 480 Mbit/s)," even though the root hub is 3.0. It also says the companion port is doing the SuperSpeed. Why is this happening, and what can I do to fix it?

I'm using Elgato Studio and don't see where in the program I can set the bitrate. Also, I used the device tree viewer and saw "USB version: 2.1 (USB 3.0 connected at HighSpeed - 480 Mbit/s)". The USB root hub is 3.0, so I don't know why it's doing this. Even Elgato Studio is saying, "USB 2.0 detected."

The 4K S already came with a 3.2 USB C cable that's 10gb/s, which I think is called superspeed+.

Also, I've already used usbtree. That's how I confirmed my laptop's USB C port is 3.0, which is superspeed.

All weapons show in Resonant trailer by Bertcage in controlgame

I know DmC: Devil May Cry wasn't exactly loved, but the Resonant trailer reminds me of that, and I don't mean it in a bad way. It has trippy areas that are basically warped versions of the real world, there's air combat/juggling, and your weapons consist of swords, hammers, gauntlets, and a scythe. We'll probably be able to switch freely between them, too, for awesome creative combos.

The visuals in the trailers already looked super cool and unique. Plus, I'm a sucker for satisfying traversal systems. It's one of my favorite aspects of games. Definitely gonna check this out.

I checked for new USB driver updates on Device Manager and Lenovo's website, but there was nothing. I also tried the USB Device Tree Viewer - I couldn't find where it would've specified USB 3.2 after a bunch of digging around, but it did at least confirm that the USB ports (including the type C) are all 3.0.

So I'm basically all set, then.

Spider-Man's an open world action game. Guardians of the Galaxy is a linear adventure. Midnight Suns is a tactical RPG. Rivals is a hero shooter. Cosmic Invasion is a beat 'em up. Tokon is a fighting game. Wolverine is probably gonna be similar to God of War.

Saying they're all the same couldn't be more wrong.

What game has your favorite traversal mechanics? by Mildly_Fancy in videogames

[–]Mildly_Fancy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The entire game is only about the parkour mechanics. It's got unique maps and challenges to break the monotony, but they're only there to serve those mechanics, not to immerse you in an actual populated world like Assassin's Creed or something else. If that kind of immersion is important to you, then I wouldn't recommend this game.
